Enabling technologies Case Study

  1. In your presentation, you are asked to answer questions regarding who, what, where, why, and how of your international distance education case study. These questions are presented after the assignment is fully explained. Distance Education around the World In completing the assignment, it will be best if you can find a case that relates to your own interests. Feel free to add to the list of questions but be mindful of the time limitations on the presentations. This assignment gives you a lot of flexibility in choosing a case and designing your presentation. You may prepare your assignment as a MS Word or PowerPoint file. Students should promptly post their International Case Study to me by the due date. I will review and post the studies for the class to see. I will then assign each student two of your classmates' "International Case Studies" to review. Students should review the other international case studies using the assignment criteria. Because passwords protect many distance education courses, you may not be able to answer all the questions. That is fine as long as you are able to answer enough questions to give a good sense of your case study. Again, this assignment is flexible to invite you to use your interests and experiences in shaping it. The questions for you to address are: Where is your case study? Who is providing the distance education in your case? Is the program private, government supported, or a mix? Who are the intended learners of your case study? What are they learning? Can you tell us anything about their course design and delivery? Does the program offer courses for credit and degrees? What technologies deliver the distance education to the students?   2. In your presentation, you are asked to answer questions regarding who, what, where, why, and how of your international distance education case study. These questions are presented after the assignment is fully explained. Distance Education around the World In completing the assignment, it will be best if you can find a case that relates to your own interests. Feel free to add to the list of questions but be mindful of the time limitations on the presentations. This assignment gives you a lot of flexibility in choosing a case and designing your presentation. You may prepare your assignment as a MS Word or PowerPoint file. Students should promptly post their International Case Study to me by the due date. I will review and post the studies for the class to see. I will then assign each student two of your classmates' "International Case Studies" to review. Students should review the other international case studies using the assignment criteria. Because passwords protect many distance education courses, you may not be able to answer all the questions. That is fine as long as you are able to answer enough questions to give a good sense of your case study.
