2. Canadian History Canada was discovered by Vikings. Leif Ericson was the first European to come to North America. In 1497 a Italian man called John Cabot sailed west from Bristol, England, hoppingto find a new trade route. The voyage led to the rediscovery of the eastern shores of Canada.

3. Canadian Food One of the Canadian foods is Poutine.It is made in Quebec. It is French fries with gravy and cheese. Beaver tails are made in Ottawa. Maple syrup ismade in Canada. Tim Horton's is a Canadian restaurant. On commercials they say, “Always fresh, always Tim Hortons.”

4. Canadian hockey One of Canada's national sports is Ice Hockey. Wayne Gretzky is Canadian and is the best hockey player to ever play the sport. He is known as “The Great One”

5. Terry Fox Terry Fox is a famous Canadian. Unfortunately he got cancer in his leg so it was amputated. They gave him an artificial leg. He started running across Canada to raise money for cancer research. He got sick when he was still running and passed away. So every year we do a Terry Fox run to raise money for Cancer.
