2. So I looked at AlunaGeorge's official website to
see how they promote themselves in terms of
brand image and songs. It seems to me as
though they're very forward towards the people
who view their website, and here's why...
3. What I found out…
The next slide shows a screenshot of the homepage
and I think the only page on their website. As we can
see, the website promotes them through iTunes and
giving tour date information to their audience. This
isn't really a website which gives personal information
about the duo, but more a commercial reach-out to
their audience, as they're basically saying 'Buy our
songs and come to our shows!' In terms of brand
image, the colour scheme and font work very well
together, and give the webpage a professional feel to
it, but not one that I myself would incorporate with
AlunaGeorge, as I expected more vibrant colours and
images of the duo together.
5. Also…
Also, when clicking the text at the top saying
'AlunaGeorge' I thought it would take me to a
main page where I could find out more about the
artist, but it again is a link to a iTunes page
where viewers can purchase their music, another
way of promoting themselves and making
money...

7. A last thing that I noticed on the page is the way
they incorporate social networking sites so that
their fans can track them through it. This helps
promotion and increases their status as they
know that nearly all their audience uses social
networking sites.
