1. Outlook for Week of January 4, 2016

Nasdaq is the only major index that stays in weak bullish trend. Other
markets are bearish but not far from their RevL. The biggest question is
whether the bearish trend will pass as a shallow correction, or continue
with another big swing to the downside.

Bonds stay bullish. Needs follow through.

Gold is weak bearish. May have bottomed. Waiting for a buy signal.

EURUSD is weak bearish and not far from its RevL. An 85 week bearish
trend may be coming to an end.

Oil stays fully bearish. Waiting for MoM to turn up.

Wheat is in bearish trend and at risk of dropping below major long term
support near 460

2. Follow us on Twitter where we post these reversal levels every day

Nikkei is in bearish mode. Other major stock indexes are bullish but only
barely holding above their RevL.

Bonds (TLT) had a failed rally and are back to bearish mode.

Gold is in bearish mode with downward MoM.

$EURUSD stays weak bullish, but 19 days of bullish mode have failed to
add any gains. At increasing risk of dropping back.

Oil is weak bearish. Needs to break out soon, otherwise MoM will
probably turn back down.

Wheat is weak bearish and fighting to stay above the 460 support level.

Buy signal for Malaysia

Speculative buy signal for Singapore.

Partial profits signal for Bitcoin, a nice 66% gain
in only 11 weeks.
Comments:

Some mild improvement this week with one
buyer and with MoM turning up for a few more
markets.

The table is still mostly red so conservative long
term investors would do well to keep waiting for
buy signals in the markets they are trading.

The aim of weekly reversal levels is not to buy
right at the bottom, but to buy when there is
enough reason to believe that a bottom is in and
a new leg upwards has started. Sometimes it
takes a lot of patience.

Speculative Buy signal for AXP and CAT.
Comments:

15 stocks bullish, unchanged from 15 last week.
Between 15 and 20 = hesitating bullish market.


No big changes other than MoM turning up for a
few stocks.

I don't expect the market to remain undecided
much longer. Either we will see follow through
to the downside and then the number of bullish
stocks will drop below 10 in a continuing
correction or bear market. Or the market comes
back from the brink and heads higher again.
Then we should see the number of bullish
stocks climb above 20. We can only wait and
see.
