The influence of DIPECHO supported projects in the
institutionalization and scaling up at National level of
CBDRM small-scale initiatives and models conducted
for many years by NGOs and mass organisations with
Dipecho support and other donors support cannot be
underestimated.
Two main achievements in CBDRMhave been :
 To provide examples of good practices in CBRM and to advocate
for replication and scaling up by the government
 Once established by the government to support the CBDRM Program
on key components:
(1) Disaster Risk Assessment and Disaster Preparedness, and
(2) Need assessment and Disaster Response

• Ongoing improvement of the tools, guidelines and training packages

VIETNAM / DIPECHO 1998-2015 The influence of DIPECHO supported projects in the institutionalization and scaling up at National level of CBDRM small-scale initiatives and models conducted for many years by NGOs and mass organisations with Dipecho support and other donors support cannot be underestimated. Two main achievements in CBDRMhave been :  To provide examples of good practices in CBRM and to advocate for replication and scaling up by the government  Once established by the government to support the CBDRM Program on key components: (1) Disaster Risk Assessment and Disaster Preparedness, and (2) Need assessment and Disaster Response Community based disaster risk management
