The influence of DIPECHO supported projects in the
institutionalization and scaling up at National level of
CBDRM small-scale initiatives and models conducted
for many years by NGOs and mass organisations with
Dipecho support and other donors support cannot be
underestimated.
Two main achievements in CBDRMhave been :
To provide examples of good practices in CBRM and to advocate
for replication and scaling up by the government
Once established by the government to support the CBDRM Program
on key components:
(1) Disaster Risk Assessment and Disaster Preparedness, and
(2) Need assessment and Disaster Response
