arisa Braia of Montreal, Canada, was a
true entrepreneur. When she was intro-
duced to Arbonne, she immediately saw
the potential of this opportunity, but after attending
her first GTC, found the inspiration to go even further.
In 2010, I was 32 and at the top of my business career as a brand spe-
cialist in the airline industry. Then, the economical situation at the time
forced to choose between continuing my corporate business career or
pursuing my entrepreneurial dream.
Returning from my second maternity leave, I decided to challenge myself
by running a half–marathon while fundraising for the Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society. During six months of intense training, our team
stayed focused on our goal to finish the race and hand over a $10,000
cheque to LLS. On race day, six of us locked arms and crossed that
finish line together.
This experience changed my outlook on life and gave me the courage
to kickstart my lifetime dream of being an entrepreneur. I opened the
first eco-conscious spa in my neighborhood. Having no knowledge
in the field, I ran with it, encouraged and supported by my wonderful

husband, Bobby, my precious daughters, Simona and Alessia, and my
friends and family.
It was financially enriching and personally gratifying. But I guess running
a half-marathon and opening a spa wasn’t challenging enough, nor did
it give me the freedom and flexibility to control my time, so I started a
new venture called Arbonne!
I needed not only to try the brand, but to see the brand’s power. I wanted
to have a clear vision in order to paint the big picture. I left my husband

2. with two small children and was off to discover Arbonne at GTC. This
business trip transformed my vision and my life. On the last day of training
as an Executive District Manager, I looked at my leaders and declared RVP
by June 2012. Becoming an RVP and knowing what you build belongs to
you, and no one can take your business away, is the best feeling.
Having been in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds, I can
clearly state the benefits of this network marketing business exceeded
my expectations. You own your network, time leveraging means more
money, global expansion is possible, duplication is key not a threat, all P’s
of marketing delivered, in business for yourself but not by yourself, free
coaching, reward is mandatory not an expense … the list goes on. But
the most important gift you’ll get from network marketing is the possibility
to wear your heart on your sleeve and lead from the heart. It’s not a job
but a personal growth journey every day, and everyone in your business
will help you grow. In a short time, you’ll realize it’s normal to feel and
look good in this business. Beauty inside and out! The power of owning
your own life while inspiring others is priceless.
Exactly one year after I completed RVP, Arbonne gave me the luxury to sell
my spa. I have the opportunity to live a balanced life while running a mobile/
global i-office without compromising my number-one priority — raising my
family. This blessing has allowed me to pursue my Why with conviction
and build the network marketing legacy that I want to leave to my children.
On my journey, I’ve met wonderful people who have contributed to my
success, and I will forever be thankful. Please don’t settle. Make mis-
takes, challenge your ideas, it’s the only way to grow. Surround yourself
with amazing people by giving them the support they need. It’s not easy,
believe me, I had a hard start, but it gets easier when you start believing
in the transformation.
My best advice is just BE — do it for yourself, be yourself, believe in your-
self, be happy. Have a clear vision, set goals and deadlines, and don’t let
disappointments set you back. The Arbonne journey is like a marathon.
Success isn’t crossing the finish line in record time, but rather having
the courage to start the race! Your time will be fuelled by your inner Why.

patience during all my journeys over the past 20 years. You are doing
what you do best, building me strong.
To my precious daughters, Simona and Alessia: Thank you for your
