4. New C Act Rate(Companies Act)
 Select Method: WDV/ SLM
 Save

9. Asset Creation
DEPRECIATION PROCESS-1
Normal Process of Maintaining Asset and Calculate Depreciation from date of
purchase/ put to use
1. Create New Asset
2. Select Category
3. Enter Purchase Date/Use Date
4. Give Original Purchase Cost/Gross Value
5. Adjustable Cost to alter purchase cost for other expenses.

DEPRECIATION PROCESS-2
A. One Minute Solution for Depreciation Calculation, Where Old Record from
Date of Purchase is not Maintained.
1. Create Block Wise Asset.
2. Select Category
3. Enter Purchase Date/Use Date as 04/01/2013
4. Give Original Purchase Cost/Gross Value as on 31/03/2013
5. Accumulated Depreciation as on 31/03/2013
B. For New Asset Purchased After 31/03/2013 follow Process-1.

11. Upload Excel (Asset Details)
 Click on Upload Excel to Upload Bulk Asset Details.
 Download Excel Format
 Follow the Guide Line to Upload Asset

12. Search & Modify Asset
Select Asset
Corresponding details will come
Modify Asset
Save

13. Depreciation Calculation
Select Financial Year and Proceed (For all Assets Depreciation)
Enter Description(Optional) and Proceed - (For Selected Asset
Depreciation)
Filter by Category/Asset ID (Optional) and Proceed for Selected Category
Depreciation.

14. Depreciation Reversal
Click on reverse option to undo Depreciation
If Depreciation is to be reversed then start from top to the year of choice.

15. SALES/DISPOSAL

Original Sale/Disposal Cost
Sale/Disposal Proceeds Amount

16. Report
Alter Deprecation
** If need be depreciation in particular asset can be altered

Alter depreciation value to adjust net value

18. Depreciation Report schedule
II(Companies Act)
1. 1st Page is according to schedule 2 Performa for fixed Asset.
2. Page 2 is for detail and Reconciliation for current year depreciation.
3. 100% Depreciation shows for assets having WDV more then salvage value but 0
age of asset as per new rule.
4. Transfer to Reserve amount shows to bring the WDV equal to salvage value for
asset having WDV less then salvage Value as on 31/03/2014.
