2. To write a biography is to write about
somebody other than yourself.
The word biography comes from two Greek
words: Bio = Life and graphos = writing. Thus
biography means life writing.
We will write the biographies of people that
are important to our lives. In order to do this
you will follow the five steps of writing:

Think of a person you know is
important in your life or in your

interesting
Think of a person whose dreams you
want to make your own

When did he/she become important?
Where did he /she achieve? In what
field?
How did he/she do it?
Why did you chose him/her?

Make an interview to someone who
knows the person or knows about the
person
Interview the person
Listen to the radio
Surf the Internet
6. Write you information in complete
sentences.
Don’t worry about spelling or layout at
this time.
7. Beginning - The beginning should state
the focus of your writing in a way that makes
the reader want to read.
Middle - Make sure you use descriptive
words so that the reader can imagine how
you really are. Please remember details and
examples
End – That explains why you are who you
are and how his/her dreams may relate to
your dreams
