2. Good morning Big Brother! How
are you?
The people want to know more
about you, so I'll start with a
few questions about you.
Where do you live?
Fine. Thank you.
I live in a flat.

3. Do you have a hobby?
Yes, I do. I play chess with
members of the Party. I always
win. So I like that game.
Do you have a favourite food or drink?
I love wine. But I don’t have a
favourite food, because I work too
much and I don’t have time to eat.
What do you think about love?
It’s a horrible feeling. When you
are in love you think stupid things,
so you become a stupid person.

4. I don’t agree with you, because some people love
you and love the Party.. And that isn’t a crime.
Now I'll ask you other question. How is the war
with Eurasia and Eastasia?
I hope you know, that you’re asking a
stupid question, because since the world
exists this war has existed too. It’s
impossible to win or lose. If you are a
good member of the Party, you know it.
Sorry Sir. But I think that they are a lot
of people in our country that want you
to explain that and not a telescreen.
What is the use of a telescreen?
It’s for control the criminals. In
this country they’re good
thinkers and bad thinkers. My
mission is to discover the bad
people and protect the others.

Why do you think the people
love you?
Because I'm the leader. I want the
best for our country. I work all day
to protect the world for
thoughtcrime.

you dream?
Yes, I do. I dream with a world
with no love and no
thoughtcrime.
Do you have a family?
No. I suppose that I've had parents but
they put me in a bag when I was a baby
and we separated. Hopefully I don’t
remember them. They were bad thinkers.

7. Do you believe in God?
Of course no. I’m God.
Well, I have no more questions
for you. Thank you so much.

Yes, I believe in God. But I'm not
a criminal.

9. Do you work against the
Party?
No exactly. I work for an
independent newspaper.
But that newspaper is against the
Party and against me, so you must
die. You’re a thoughtcriminal.
No Sir, I believe in a better world with
no telescreens and wars. I want a free
country where the people could think
different things, because now we are
your slaveries.

10. You must die, and you
will die.
Hopefully I'll die saying what I
think. I believe in God, so I
believe that you will die too.
The soldiers will kill you.
And I will live till the end
of the world.
No. You’ll die when the people start
believing in God. I promise you that I'll
work against you, being alive o dead.
Because I'll never die too. I believe in
God.

11. Of course the journalist died. But the message isn’t
that you have to be careful about what you say to a
powerful man. The real message is that you have to
believe that the world could be better, that the
change is in you and you have to be part of that
change You’re only a person of millions in this
world but if nobody start making that change, it
won’t be a change ever.
At the final of this book Big Brother wasn’t beat.
But it’s only a story, the reality it’s different.
Everything is possible, you have to believe in you.
