located and at the administrative heads of the school.
 The name of all teachers courses and sections to which
they are assigned.
 The days of work that each class section will meet.
 the period of Co-curricular activities.
 Number of periods for each subjects according their
significant.
 A tutorial period should be one in the week.
 Arrangements of the research for the students.

 A chart or general plan of actions by which the

different activities of the curriculum involving pupils
and teachers are accorded a sequence and location.
Definition:
Division of the time of the students and
teachers in the best way is called, “A Time Table”.

To implements the basic principals in organizing cocurricular activities to achieve the educational needs

A school time table is a table for coordinating

these four elements.

 it is the best way to use the specific skills of the

teachers for specific goals.
 It divides for all subjects according to their
significances.
 It facilitate the operation of educational programme.
 It provides chances to express a well designed
educational programme and a competent
administrator.


 Be sufficient, to clear and complete to asset materially

in the effective of the daily programme.
 Provide the good balance in the distribution of class
sections through out the school day.
 Assign to the teacher that courses that they are
qualified.
 Provide at least one period for planning and
conferences to each teacher.
 Serve the characteristics and preferences of the
community with the respect to time limits for the
school day.

 Is schedule showing model offering makes provision

for students differences provides flexible time blocks
and function smoothly.
Types of Time Table:
There are two types of time table
 Weekly time table
 Daily time Table
Weekly Time Table:In this time table school activities are arrange at
weak basis and all the subject are divided as there
importance.

 Daily Time Table:-

In this type of time table number of periods remain
same for the whole running session. It is also used as
alternative time table.


 Balance in distribution of class sections
 Subjects assign to teachers for which they are qualified
 Period for planning and conferences
 Utilization of class rooms and teachers

 Break for refreshment
 Proper distribution of school time




We can improve the performance of the school, if we
follow the following suggestion.
1. It should allow the students to chose the subjects they
like to study in different periods as is done developed
country.
2. Its is necessary to keep the course in view, while drawing
the time table . The periods will be for various subjects
during the deep should be informality with the syllabus.
3. It should the helpful in instructing the students in
efficient working, observance of principals, proper use of
time and in the strengthening of determination.
