We are here to inform you about the challenge which a group of 4 sixth formers (supported by 2 more and a year 11) are going to undertake in the summer. As you can guess it does include bikes, raising money for charity, whilst getting very sore bum’s in the process.
We will be raising money for the hospice. They need to raise £4400 a day to keep everything running, although the overall cost is £7000 a day. £3.3 mil needed each year. The hospice needs to raise £2.2 million every year through donations from businesses and the general public. The Earl Mountbatten Hospice is the only hospice on the Isle of Wight and cares for over 800 patients every year who face life-threatening conditions and their families.
