When a company promotes their products on social media, you
can reach an enormous target group at the same time, spread all
over the world.
 This creates brand awareness
 Increase sales
 Increase market share
 brand loyalty
 company has the ability to launch new products or
services with less fear to completly fail (beacause of brand loyalty)
 ….

WHY IS SOCIAL MEDIA USEFUL?
It is crucial that you are visible on the social networks that your
customers are using, they will post things (positive or negative) about
your company or products and you should be aware of what they think
about you so that you can adjust to their needs and preferences.
Managing your reputation online is a critical part of any marketing
strategy and social media provides you with a fast and effective way to
do this.
 helps you to manage your reputation
 helps you deliver better customer service.
They show their latest promotions, latest collections, new products.
Notice that the more popular a company is, the more people pay
attention to their advertisements. They want to surround our daily lives
with their products, this by publishing it on our favorite social media.

EXAMPLE DVF
As a preparation for last year, I applied for an
internship at DVF. Therefor I visited their
extensively, I followed them on Instagram,
Facebook etc. This is the results: DVF
everywhere! I had an add on FB at a certain
moment but I forgot to take a screenshot. You
can see that even on random websites, they still
trace you. It’s pretty scary don’t you think?
