Our client is one of fastest growing tech companies in the UK and is looking for a Head of Analytics to
join their team. As Head of Analytics you will manage an agile, dedicated analytics team tasked with
delivering insights and narratives around advertising delivery data. The purpose of the analytics function
is to drive campaign performance and transparency for clients (both internal and external). As Head of
Analytics you will actively seek new ways of analysing and exploring data to help service existing client
base more effectively and to bring on new clients.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide second-to-none data visualizations using our in-house data stores and dashboarding platforms
•Support the Optimisation team by providing deep campaign analysis services for our larger clients,
highlighting potential ways the campaigns can yield more performance
•Review well performing campaigns with a view to seeing if more margin can be yielded from them
•Work closely with the Data Science team to develop and test new optimisation algorithms, using your
real world knowledge coupled with their new theories
•Enable the team to work effectively with the Infectious Media Account Managers to help accelerate the
growth of client relationships
•Determine the value of new data points and provide guidance to the Optimisation team as to what to
use and when
•Be a thought leader on analytical topics through internal topic ownership, 3rd party relationship
management as well as public speaking and maintaining regular, written, external facing material on
your topics
•Keep pace with the ever changing exchange landscape and marketplace
•Be the voice of Analytics and what can be achieved using it during pitches for new clients
Skills Required
•Very strong written and spoken communication skills
•Experience in a marketing services environment and able to communicate with confidence and gravitas
to internal and external clients.
•Strong commercial skills with a track record of how your analyses have helped clients improve
performance or increase sales
•Excellent analytical skills, able to get to the bottom of a problem quickly and efficiently and being able
to jump between complex concepts and explain them clearly
•Deep knowledge of using different kinds of data to further client goals
•Experience of developing and managing teams
•Excellent SQL or other data querying experience
•Knowledge of an analysis tool such as R, SPSS or SAS
•Confidence in presenting to clients and large groups of people
•An understanding of data warehousing techniques and concepts is a plus.
•Degree in Maths, Physics, Computer Science with 5 years’ experience in an Analytics, Business
Intelligence or similar role
