7. Replikace a failover
podpora pro replikace a plánovaný failover
Replikace založená na hostiteli a na
úrovniVM nabízí variabilní optimalizaci
s využitím několika bodů obnovy.
- Inkrementální near-CDP replikace s
WAN akcelerací.
- Re-IP na cílové straně a real
failback s delta synchronizací.
- Jednoduše spustitelný failover plán s
definovaným postupem spouštění
VM.
- Twist! Replikace ze souboru zálohy.
10. používejte nebo poskytujte cloud
- Použije „backup copy“ a „WAN
acceleration“ (je-li licencováno na
straně uživatele).
- Kopírování záloh do cloudu přes
SSL připojení.
- Nastavení za 10 minut, podpora
multi-tenant, správa zdrojů,
škálovatelná infrastruktůra a
kryptování.
Service provider licensing (měsíční nájem)
dostupné prostřednictvím Veeam Cloud
Provider programu, cena je závislá na
poskytovateli.
Cloud Connect
11. Veeam má klíče
k otevření příležitostí
Pro zákazníky:
Přináší snadné a dostupné
DR v cloudu
(s využitím stávajících nástrojů)
Pro poskytovatele:
Odstraní složitost při nabízení
DRaaS
(networking, multi-tenancy, ...)
For customers: Leveraging existing tools is important for you as a service provider because it makes it easier for your customers to use and consume your service.
For service providers: Remove the complexity by addressing the various networking issues around failover and also by providing everything you need out of the box. As you’ll hear more about shortly, with Cloud Connect, all you need is the “naked hypervisor.”
DRaaS is not entirely new to Veeam: previous product releases enabled service providers to host offsite replicas – for example, dual proxy architecture in v6, WAN acceleration for VM replication in v8.
Managed DR service that uses another tool: such as Zerto or Double-Take
VMware or Microsoft DRaaS: vCloud Air Disaster Recovery or Azure Site Recovery
Build 0: How VCC-R makes DRaaS easier than with Veeam today
Build 1: How VCC-R makes DRaaS easier compared to other tools
More on transparent networking
If you’re familiar with Cloud Connect Backup, this is going to look familiar – for example, Cloud Gateway, SSL/TLS connection and WAN acceleration.
Build 0: The usual components a customer needs (on the source side) to replicate a VM
Build 1: The corresponding components on the service provider side
Build 2: The additional components for VCC-R
Service provider perspective
For failover in the event of a catastrophic disaster and the customer has lost their backup console and their failover plans
Note: The web portal is for failover ONLY – there’s no web portal for the customer to provision a cloud host, check on billing, etc.

Again, we’ll start with the customer perspective
Note that we’re working in the Veeam backup console (not a separate interface)
In order to start replicating VMs to a cloud host, your customer simply adds you as a service provider in their Veeam Backup & Replication console

Replicating to a cloud host – this is a VMware example, works the same for Hyper-V
Failing over to a replica VM (this is the current v8 interface – failing over to a replica in the cloud will work in the same way)
