5. March Madness
March Madness is a phenomenon that grips the
national sports psyche from the second week of
March through the first week of April. March
Madness is the moniker that is given to the
National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)
Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments.
These tournaments determine the national
champions of college basketball. The NCAA
tournaments are an American tradition that sends
millions of fans into a synchronized frenzy each
year. It's this chaos that gives the tournament its
March Madness nickname. March Madness is the
concentrated hype of 68 teams vying for college
basketball's biggest prize. It's the last-second,
buzzer-beating baskets, the euphoria of winning to
play another day and the agony of losing and going
home.

11. How about FGCU!?!?
FGCU was definitely the “underdog” of this
tournament. Nobody had even heard about this
team until the beginning of this tournament. To
start out the tournament, they beat the #2 seed
Georgetown in the first round of the NCAA
Tournament, then beat the #7 seed San Diego St.
in the round of 32. Sadly, they lost in the sweet 16
against Florida. FGCU had a great run in the
tournament especially for a team thats only been a
division 1 team for 2 years!
13. The Fab Five
The fab five were starters for the Michigan
Wolverines. They were all freshmen. They also
made it to 2 National championships, but lost
