NEW YORK, NY, April 2, 2012—Promotions.com, a leader in interactive
marketing and consumer promotion technologies, recently helped client Kraft
Foods launch its Oreo centennial celebration paying tribute to the brand’s 100-
year prominence. Just one component of the entire global campaign, which
spanned from TV commercials and Facebook fan engagement to a limited-
edition Birthday Cake Oreo, the Marshall Junction Partners company assisted in
executing the #OreoPiñata Twitter-based Instant Win Game. The promotion was
done in coordination with the award-winning digital agency, 360i.

“When it comes to brands, only a select few have ever possessed the ability to
withstand the tests of times. It is without question that Oreo has emerged as one
of those rarities, a classic product surging ahead in today’s digital world,” stated
Gregg Alwine, Managing Partner of Marshall Junction Partners. He added, "Any
time Promotions.com works with their Fortune 100 clients, it further solidifies the
firm’s global footprint within the promotional marketing industry."

Upon becoming a follower of Oreo on Twitter, contestants had the ability to
partake in the uniquely designed Instant Win Game by "hitting" the piñata with
every original tweet including the #OreoPinata hashtag. Once the piñata broke,
the Twitter user who swung last (tweeted the respective hashtag) would be
rewarded a free pack of Oreo cookies. Throughout the week of March 26, 2012-
April 1, 2012, Oreo gave away 30 packs per day. With thousands upon
thousands of participants, Promotions.com developed the logic behind the
winning tweets and drove consumers to the redemption site. Winners would
receive either an @mention or @reply with information on how to redeem their
prize, which was a coupon for the a free package of OREO cookies.
