2. It's a city rich in history and culture. Through
of the wonderful works of art that you see, you
can know many things about Cordoba.
Many years ago, other civilizations existed
here, like Roman or Arabic civilization.
7. It's the symbol and the largest
building in the city and is one of the
most important monuments of
Moorish architecture. Mosque is next
to the Roman Bridge.
It's the third largest mosque in the
world.
9. The jewish quarter has many narrow streets
where you can find the Alcazar of catholic
kings, the famous patios of Córdoba and the
colt square.
It is the most visited neighborhood cordoba.
The atmosphere is cozy.
11. Near the mosque and the Jewish quarter we
can see the river Guadalquivir.
In Cordoba there are several bridges over
the Guadalquivir, but the oldest and most
famous is the Roman bridge.
13. Madinat Al-Zahra
This city was built by order of the first caliph
of Al-Andalus, Abd Al-Rahman III al-Nasir, in
936, on the outskirts of Cordoba, Sierra
Morena.
Now, there are only ruins of that city, and
remains of objects exhibits in a museum.
