Department. University of Missouri, Columbia, U.S.A.
1979 Worked with Abu Dhabi National Petroleum Construction
Company (NPCC) as a Mechanical Engineer. The company
was providing services to Abu Dhabi offshore oil fields,
such as fabricating and installing Jackets, Well Head
Platforms, Helidecks, Offshore Pipelines, wells Hook-up to
Production Network…etc.
13th

closely the offshore field operations and providing technical
assistance and support to Senior Supervisors.
 Checks equipment availability for planned wells to be drilled
and advises if re-rescheduling is required.
 Evaluates the drilling efficiency and analyze the reasons for
problems to avoid such occurrences in the future.
 Performs other related duties such as studying and analyzing
well data and recommends optional drilling procedures, the
supervision and training of Junior personnel in both written and
practical aspects of the well engineering.
 Prepares the contracts of Rigs and their amendments with close
liaison with budget officer.
 Prepares all final well drilling reports.
 Supervises the trial / pilot tests for new equipment.

My duties and responsibilities were as follows:
 Prepare the Company Production and Injection Allocation
Reports, per well, per reservoir, per Satellite and per Total
Field, on monthly basis.
 Validate and review daily the well head parameters
(pressure, choke size opening, temperature, oil & gas rates
and water cut evolution) of producers and injectors with a
view to increase their potential by the initiation of
stimulation or work-over proposals and submits
recommendations to senior supervisors.
 Monitoring water production evolution.
 Development of ZADCO new Back Allocation System.
 Developing Field data quality optimization System and
deployment of GeoQuest Finder Database.

GOR and well head characteristics performance curves
 Prepare the available Production and Injection Potential
Forecasts on monthly basis, based on the actual flow tests
results, Rig activity Bar chart, Hook-up and commissioning
schedule.
 Establish order of preferential priority order of opening and
closing depleted wells in order to obtain the required field
off-take taking into consideration the reservoir constraints
and Injection / Production balance ratio.
 Maintain & develop the computerized Production &
Injection Database System and their application.
 Determines the optimum BS&W sampling frequency.
 Carries out special studies aiming to improve productivity
and / or injectivity of the wells.
