   • An easy for people to search for tweets that have a common topic.  For example:

What are Some Uses of Hashtags? 
   • Establish one with your call name 
   • Reference arIsts by hashtags when interviewing so that search reveals them on 
   your staIons 
   • Create themes, e.g. #MusicWednesdays

What is a Tweet Chat? 
   • A tweetchat is simply an organized group chat that takes place using 
   the TwiZer pla^orm.’ 
   • ParIcipants use an assigned hashtag (say, #sbbuzz) for their tweets during 
   the discussion 




What are Some Ways to Use Tweet Chats? 
   • Select a topic for people to talk about, e.g. American Idol or the Olympics. 
   • Invite audience to parIcipate in a live chat via twiZer moderated by a staIon 
   producer while the DJ discusses the chat stream on the air. 
   • Create a transcript of the tweet chat and post to your site
