I am highly motivated and have been described as a “go-getter.” I like to think outside
the box and have been in the nursing profession for over 29 years. I love teaching and
working with students. I find them exciting, challenging and love to work with them
providing them with guidance and education to provide the utmost care for patients.
EDUCATION:
Aquinas High School: Southgate, Michigan. Graduated 1980 with honors.
University of Alabama Birmingham: Birmingham Alabama. Graduated in 1985 with
Bachelors in Nursing. Minor in Psychology.
University of Phoenix:Master’s in Nursing with a specialty in Health Care Education.
Completed April, 2010.
WORK HISTORY:
Virginia College, Birmingham, Alabama: January 2014 to present. Clinical
Coordinator/Instructor. Working on developing the learning goals of all students of
Virginia College in Birmingham, Alabama. Work as classroom instructor.
 Assist in developing reports for the ABN.
 Directly works with Health Care organizations for contracts
 Work on the clinical development for new hires.
 Working with Faculty Portal
 Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
 Familiar with computer and used to working on them.
 Administrative duties
 Filled in for Academic Dean of Nursing Program while absent.
St. Vincent Birmingham: April 2011 to September 2013. Worked as a Clinical
Coordinator in the Education Department and conducted general orientation for
nursing staff. Moved into a management position in December 2012. Left with changes
in management and philosophy of organization.
