Our Local Account asked four questions:
1.What has worked well about your care
and support in the last year?
2. What has not worked so well?
3. What could you or others do to make your
life better?
4. What does having a good quality of life mean
to you?
8. You say, we do. “We have had to actively seek
out information, we are trying to
cope with a difficult situation on
a daily basis. The Council needs
to be more pro-active.”We are sorry to hear this. Over the
next 12 months we will improve the
quality of information and support
that we provide via our
access team and other public access
points including Healthwatch “My personal budget has taken a
long time to approve. It doesn’t
allow any time to support me
with shopping or voluntary
work which is important to me.”We will review our processes to
ensure individual priorities are
responded to. We will also explore
wider resources in the community to
increase the range of choice available
