I am a hard working and conscientious environmental science graduate with fourteen
years’ experience catering and nearly 3 years of developing websites as a freelance
website developer. My current ambition is to build on my experience of Ecommerce and
to complete work on custom WordPress themes. Hopefully this year I will be wrapping
up my work with JavaScript and developing some mobile phone apps.

2. Professional Experience
2013 – 2016 Freelance Website Developer
After completing University in 2012 I committed to charity work to build on my interest of
developing websites and to find my way into work as a freelance website developer.
Since starting as a freelance developer in 2013 I have been involved in numerous
projects some involving custom and bespoke developments and others with the
WordPress CMS. I am now familiar with Ecommerce and shop front creation for
websites as well as work as a shop manager. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) has
become an important part of my repertoire and I manage sites for different clients on a
regular basis. I also develop custom plugins for WordPress as well as themes with user
guides and simple to user theme option panels. All designed to give the client freedom to
manager their own site as they want in their own time. My most recent work can be

My current ambition is to complete work on my own online business Premier Design.

I have experience of working in canteens, hotels, cafes, care homes, pubs and
restaurants. Was formerly trained up to two rosette level in 1998 by David Burns and
then spent two years working in hotels around London with Towngate Employment.
Further experience includes head chef work in canteens, care homes and guest houses.
