Dreamtime is the culmination of a years worth of photography and design work. I began in Australia, where I traveled all around the country, photographing in multiple settings and conditions. Back in the United States, I designed and bound the best of my work in the book you see here. While I wish I could have put more of my work into the finished project, I am extremely proud of my efforts here.

3. Anne McDonough
Anne McDonough
Anne McDonough is a Simmons Alumnae who spent the first semester of
her senior year abroad in Australia, taking with her a small digital camera. This
book is a tribute to her photography skills, her design skills, and most of all,
the beauty of Australia.

19. Sydney, New South Wales was where I was based
for the majority of my semester. I spent many months
walking the city; I could probably find certain places with
my eyes closed, even now. This small offering of pictures
does not do the city full justice, but it shows some of my
favorite sites that I saw living and playing in the city.
Grey Headed Flying Fox
25. Cairns was little more than an outpost in an oasis of natural wonders.
I have only a few pictures of my time here, but even from the few pictures,
one can see what an incredible place Cairns in situated in.
Blue Lipped Clam
41. I spent my Halloween weekend in the southern
hemisphere’s answer to Boston, MA. It was a metropolis
of little tea shops and graffiti, surrounded by one of the
most beautiful places I have ever seen, The Great Ocean
Road.
Sulphur Crested Cockatoo
43. Red Centre
There’s a thunder storm comin’...but then, even
the outback needs some rain, and I betcha can’t
find nothing prettier than Uluru in a rainstorm
57. The Red Centre is the most beautiful place that I have ever seen
in my short life. Words cannot describe how simply beautiful,
stark, and heartbreaking the Red Centre was. These photos really
were an act of love on my part.
