IMPLEMENTING WORLD CLASS ITS STRATEGIES FOR
HIGH-QUALITY TRANSPORT SERVICES, ROAD SAFETY
AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
Today, the Gulf region and particularly the UAE are on the cusp of a transformation, where ITS
technologies offer realistic solutions to reach their goal to be among the smartest countries in the
world.
The UAE has introduced several ambitious projects and plans in which ITS will play a tremendous
role such as Abu Dhabi vision 2030, Zero Fatality on the Roads 2030 and the Abu Dhabi Surface
Transport Master Plan.
In light of this, the ITS Forum UAE will be held in Abu Dhabi from the 22 - 25 March 2015. This
event will bring together government officials, national and international stakeholders and solution
providers to share their expertise and discuss the latest state-of-the-art ITS technologies and their
major contribution in:
• Promoting economic competitiveness through efficient, high-quality transport services
• Enhancing productivity through the integration of advanced communications technologies
into transportation infrastructure and in vehicles
• Improving the safety and maximising the capacity of existing infrastructure
• Delivering world-leading performance in environmental sustainability by using resources
responsibly, minimising pollution and preserving the environment
This event also aims to highlight leading international case studies and latest regional initiatives,
with a special focus on the UAE and its successful implementation of sophisticated Intelligent
Transport Systems through a number of initiatives and master plans.
What your peers said about past ITS events:
“The best attended and most
professional meeting I have ever
participated in the Middle East”
