1. SysInfoTools PDF Manager

1.1 Overview

PDF Manager from SysInfoTools is a stand-alone application which
helps you to Split large PDF file into „n‟ number of small PDF files,
Merge „n‟ number of small PDF files into single PDF file, Protect your
file with the help of passwords and restrictions and remove various
security parameters from PDF files which helps you to take printout,
copy and change etc. PDF Manager is a very simple lightning-quick
desktop utility program that provides you complete flexibility and user
control to deal with different types of PDF files. Using this tool user can
do anything with PDF files. SysInfoTools PDF Manager provides
numerous alternatives for PDF files. This tool is very flexible and time
saving. It is a combination pack of PDF Split, PDF Merge, PDF Protect,
and PDF Unprotect. This tool offers advanced settings to maintain the
output PDF file security and PDF metadata such as PDF title, PDF
subject, PDF author and PDF keywords.

PDF Manager from SysInfoTools is helpful and user friendly tool. No
technical skills and training is required while using this application.
There are lots of options available while using this application. It

Split PDF file(s)

This option helps you to produce new PDF files by extracting „n‟
number of pages from the multi-page PDF file. User can split large sized
PDF files using 5 options available in this tool:

Split by number of pages
Split PDF by Size (kb).
Split by Page Range
Split by Even pages
Split by Odd pages

Merge PDF files.

PDF Merge is used to combine two or more than two PDF files together.
It allows you to combine pages from multi-page PDF file and allows
you to open all PDF files at same time. Options available in PDF Merge
tool:

Move Up and Down.

Odd and Even pages

Protect PDF file(s).

PDF protection helps you to protect your PDF files with the help of
“User” password and “Owner” password and you can also add some
restrictions by proving some security parameters.

PDF Restriction Remover

PDF Restriction Remover helps you to remove each and every
restriction from PDF file. This software removes both „User‟ and
„Owner‟ passwords to allow you to easily copy, print, change and
modify anything.

Note: If your file is „User‟ password protected file then it will never
remove restrictions without entering correct „User‟ password.

1.2.1 Installation procedure
Before installing the software, ensure that your computer meets the
minimum system requirements to install SysInfoTools PDF Manager
Software.

Minimum System Requirements: To install the software on your
system minimum requirements are:

Processor : Any compatible processor
Operating System : Windows 95, 98, 2000, 2003, 2008, ME, NT,
XP, Vista, Windows 7 Memory : 128 MB recommended

To install the software:
After being familiar with the software overview, key features, and
system requirements install the software. However, before installing

How to Order: The software can be purchased by making payments

To activate the Software: As you purchase the software, an Order
Number is generated and provided to you. This order number has to be
entered in the Registration window of the trial version of PDF Manager
software.

Go to Help menu and select the Register Software option, the following
window will be displayed:

After you have downloaded the installer file, execute the following
steps to install the software:

Click the I dont have Authentication Code check box, following fields
will be displayed:

Email Address: In this field, you need to enter your email address, which you have used
to register PDF Manager Software. Order Number: In this field, you need to enter the
Order Number, which has been provided to you at the time of purchasing the software.
Path to save the file: In this field, you have to select the path where you want to save
the log file, which is generated after clicking on Get Authentication Code by default log
file will be saved on desktop. After the log file is generated, you need to mail this log
file at sales@sysinfotools.com
Our Sales team will receive your email and send you the Authentication Code with
License via email, which has to be entered in the Registration Window.

1.4.1.1 Split PDF File By Number Of Pages

Select this option to split original PDF file into given number of pages. For example 1
number of pages entered is 4, then the original PDF files will get split into multiple
PDF files in which each out PDF file content 4 pages.

1. Click Start > All Programs > SysInfoTools PDF Manager >
SysInfoTools PDF Manager.
Main window of the software will appear.Select the Split button
to continue.

2. Click the select file button to select and list the PDF document for
split process. After listing the PDF file, click the Next button to
continue.

Owner Password-Set the Owner Password for the encrypted
document. Opening the document with the correct owner
password allows full access to the document.
User Password- Set the User Password for the generated PDF
document. Opening the document with the correct user password
allows additional operations to be performed according to the user

There are two type of encryption that can be set when protecting a
PDF file.
Low (Acrobat 3.0 and later): Set the level to 40bit.

High (Acrobat 5.0 and later): Set the level to 128bit.

After selecting, the appropriate settings click on the Ok button.

1.5 Uninstall the Software

You can uninstall the SysInfoTools PDF Manager software from your
computer system by using one of the following two methods:

Uninstall from Windows Start Menu
Uninstall from Control Panel

Note: Before starting the un-installation process, make sure that the
SysInfoTools PDF Manager software is not running.

Uninstall from the Windows Start Menu

Execute the following steps to uninstall SysInfoTools PDF Manager
from Windows Start menu:

1. Click Start All Programs > SysInfoTools PDF Manager > Uninstall
SysInfoTools PDF Manager. A warning message before un-
installing the software will be displayed on the screen.

3. Click the OK button.

SysInfoTools PDF Manager software is successfully uninstalled from
your computer system.

Execute the following steps to uninstall SysInfoTools PDF Manager

2. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon. A list of the
programs installed on your computer appears.
