Engineering – Natural Resources
Merrick Browne's specialist Engineering department focuses exclusively on
Natural Resources, with a particular emphasis on the Petrochemical, Renewable
& Mining industries.
The department, which is lead by a qualified engineer, is able to provide
resourcing and placement services on mandates covering design engineering (in
various disciplines), Project orientated professionals and senior executive /
management functions.
Finance - Corporate Finance / Retail

Lawrence is a chartered accountant and has a PhD from
Lancaster in Systems Design. He has been (variously) a
Partner in Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young), A
Fellow of the Kings Fund, Group Controller for ICL Fujitsu,
and within the NHS has been Director, Guys and St
Thomas’ Hospital and of the NHS Information Authority.
Lawrence brings a wealth of management experience and is
instrumental in developing the underpinning strategies
Dr Lawrence which Merrick Browne use in each of its assignments. He is
Managing Partner a Board Member of several international businesses in both
the recruitment and energy sectors.
Luke studied communications in Leicester and has since
focussed in developing his expertise in human resources.
During this time, he has been involved in shaping and
driving the recruitment function in several internationally
focused recruitment businesses and executive search firms.
Luke leads engagements with key accounts, delivering
search & selection solutions to global remits.

Sean has over 25 years experience, working with some of

experience, Sean leads Merrick Browne’s activities in

Tony has a degree in Economics from the University of
Bath and brings to Merrick Browne over twenty-five years
of telco and information systems industry experience.
Before Merrick Browne, Tony worked in a number of
senior level roles with firms such as Cable &
Wireless, Procom Europe, Pelsis Group and Telephone
Rentals. Tony transitioned into the recruitment
industry, specialising in senior level niche IT assignments
Tony Movsessian working with international clients.
Senior Partner
Jared completed his degree in Economics and Business
Management before going through the graduate
programme at Nationwide Building Society, specialising in
Risk and was involved in a number of corporate wide
programmes, including TCF policies and revenue
generation initiatives. Jared works on board level to senior
management positions predominantly across corporate
and retail finance. Before Merrick Browne he worked as a
Jared Langley Senior Search Consultant in an international executive
Junior Partner search firm
Having qualified as a Mechanical Engineer from the
University of Bath (M.Eng), Oke went on to
evaluate, review and rewrite the process systems for an
international Chemical company. He has since been
involved with an international recruitment firm, first as an
Analyst and then as an Interim Operations Director, before
taking a permanent role as a Director of Engineering. He
has joined Merrick Browne to lead the technical aspects of
engineering mandates and designs the control processes

6. SENIOR ENGAGEMENT TEAM
A graduate of Cambridge University, Arun is developing his
career as a specialist advisor to international Petrochemical
companies. Previous to Merrick Browne, Arun started his
career on the Energy desk of a recruitment consultancy. He
brings to his engagements a lively, inquiring style that
rapidly opens up prospects and has had great success with
attracting young talent.
Arun Wilson
Senior Associate
Leo obtained a first in Computer Sciences with
Management from Kings College London and was awarded
the prestigious NHS Undergraduate of the Year. He is
currently studying towards his Masters in Finance from
LSE, planning to complete in September 2012.
Leo is responsible for many of the innovative new
technologies that have helped shape the resourcing strategy
that Merrick Browne employs
