I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Mickey Lewis. Mickey will be graduating in June 2015
from Everett Community College with an ATA degree in Technical Design (CAD). Based on working with him
in my classes, conversations with other instructors and his current 3.93 GPA he will graduate with honors. He
has also been nominated for the Outstanding Student Award by faculty members.
As a student in my classes Mickey has been a hardworking, diligent, likeable person with an excellent
attendance record. His ability to work with others, whether as a member of a team or helping other students
with new concepts outside of class hours has earned him the respect of his fellow classmates.
Mickey has strong natural visualization skills, which coupled with his previous training and experience in
manual mechanical drafting have allowed him to not only learn how to use CAD programs, but also to spot
problems and correct them in process to achieve fully constrained parts, assemblies and drawings.
Mickey is always willing to take on new tasks and learn new skills. He has researched skills and concepts on his
own that were beyond the scope of his classes and used them effectively on his projects.
I recommend Mickey Lewis for any Drafting or related technical position he pursues. His skills, personality and
