but mostly it connects people who are studying the same specific topic.
• You can only access MOOC on the internet.
• It offers free online courses for students, teachers, learning specialists, academics,
everyone can comment.
• People can exchange ideas on MOOC.
• It encourages responsibility on individuals.
4. History of MOOC
• There are 108 partners and 600 courses offered by MOOC.
• More than 160,000 students in 190 countries signed up.
• MOOC was offered by HASTAC in 2006 and more than 100000 people
signed up for the course.
• At first MOOC was called massive open online and connectivist.
• MOOC stands for Massive Open Online Courses.

14. How I see MOOC
• MOOC can take strengthen academics but that depends on people who are
using it for studying and those who post things to teach others.
• When learners follow people who post trust worthy things than level of
academic will be higher.
• But when a wrong information is posted than it is most likely that people will
be misled and that might lead to failing.
• Well it depends on how people see it but others say MOOC is trying to
replace classroom teaching.

• I do not see it as a replacement but as a tutor because here you get to learn
more in a simpler way than listening to a teacher in class who does not know
more about a specific topic.
• MOOCs also give a user privacy, that means whatever course you enroll in
no one will see your results without your permission and you get time to do
work on your own.

I will do physics as it is my first major.
I enjoy doing calculations.
The MOOC that I have signed up with is Basic Physics.
MOOC Corse will help me learn new strategies about calculating equations
and how I should teach learners because here at the University we do not
learn how to translate information to leraners.
