So I have researched as follows: My job was to research the genre, and the common elements of a music video. So I have researched as follows: After researching different music videos from different genres, a particular style of music stood out to me more than other and this was called “Dubstep”. This is when we keep elements of British film in the music video. For example we will have shots of famous British attractions e.g London eye, and the narrow roads and traffic, red buses in London city. I want people watching to recognize the surroundings in the video. I am are not going to try to Americanize/ glamorize our film. We are going to keep it real and near to the truth. We know it is more likely to appeal to our target audience as the will be familiar with our location and be able appreciate the different effects I've used in order to bring this locations to life.
