Leicester Country Council has 3 options on developing housing to reduce the housing crisis in the
area. You have been asked to write a report on which option you think is the best and most
sustainable
Options:
Option 1 – Develop the entire site as shown on the Ordnance survey map, with the plans
outlined for the New Town in resource 8
Option2 – Develop the airport site only as shown in the ordnance survey map, with the plans
outlined for the Airport site in resource 8
Option 3 – Reject both applications above and plan to improve empty homes in Leicester so
people can move into these
