A. MobileWish NewsBox is an unique m-News application with a 3D Navigation for touch enabled handsets like Nokia N97 that reads out the various news feeds, Twitter updates, NASDAQ stock updates and blog posts . The idea behind MobileWish NewsBox was to develop a Talking news app with a very user-friendly and easy-to-use touch enabled 3D navigation system which will be easy to personalize. The application has a unique 3d cube navigation system , which is responsive to touch (the key board is also supported) and rotates in the 3D space . However the application can also runs on compatible mode in a non-touch environment if other runtimes and screen resolutions are present. 3. The cube has 6 sides each of which represent a special type of information domain - News Feeds, Blog Posts, Stock updates, Local News, Buzz Feeds and Twitter Updates. Each side can contain up to 9 feeds for the corresponding information domain. 4. The user can edit the default feeds to add their own links and personalize it. The system is very easy to use and customizable. 5. The NewsBox feeds are easily personisable. On clicking any of the feed icon, you can see the option to EDIT the feed. In the EDIT option there are fields like feed url, and title. In case of stock feed you just need to provide stock symbol. Similarly you need to enter only user name for Twitter feed and for local news only location name subject instead of any feed URL. 6. You can listen to latest news updates from any news site by adding their feeds to the NewsBox application. The 1st face with the black/dark grey background allows you to get updates from up to 9 RSS/ATOM feeds. The updates contain images if they are present in the feed. Ther default feeds contain News from BBC, Yahoo, CNN, Reuters and more. 7. You can listen to latest updates from any blog by adding their feeds to the NewsBox application. The 2nd face with the blue background allows you to get updates from up to 9 RSS/ATOM feeds from any bloglike Wordpress and Blogger blogs. The updates contain images if they are present in the feed. The default feeds contain some famous blogs like Nokia Blogbites.
