6. DATA USAGE
To check data usage on your phone you go on
settings and then data usage. You can set a
cycle by adding the dates in which your mobile
data starts and ends. To check how much data
you have used and what you have used this
data on you scroll down and it will be shown
what apps you’ve used the data on. You can
also set warnings and limits by ticking the check
box It will allow you to set when to give your
phone a warning about how much data you’ve
used and also you can set a limit so you don’t
go over your set allowance.

7. WHATSAPP
• This is an application which has many features it allows you to send a message to
another user and once the other user has read this it will show two blue ticks on
the side. If there is one black tick it has only been delivered.
• It allows you to send voice notes by holding the mic and recording your message.
• You can also send picture messages however unlike SMS there won’t be a huge
charge for this it will just use your internet and it won’t be much data.
• You can also use WhatsApp to call other WhatsApp users which is free and all you
will need is a connection to the internet.

8. S7 EDGE FEATURES
• Allows you to monitor your heartrate and reach your
fitness goals by telling you how many steps you’ve taken
and how much you’ve drank.
• The smartphone stands dust-resistant and waterproof for

• One of the best features on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge is called Always On
Display (AOD). This feature lets you make the screen light up a smaller number of

12. EDGE LIGHTING
• Edge lighting is a special edge
screen feature for Galaxy S7 edge. The edge
screen lights up when you receive a call or
notification while Galaxy S7 edge screen is
facing downwards as shown. To enable
edge lighting, go to Galaxy S7 Settings,
tap Edge screen, tap Edge lighting and turn
it on. From this you can set up a quick reply.
Once you have an incoming call but you are
busy then place your finger on the heart
rate sensor and this will send a quick reply.
13. ONE HANDED OPERATION
• If you find that the S7 Edge is a little too
big to handle with one hand, then try
using the one-handed mode. You’ll

can decide whether you want to reduce

• There are a few different ways to access settings on the s5
if you slide one of your fingers from the top of the phone
you will gain access to your notifications and a few of the
main settings you would use everyday.
• If you swipe down with two fingers then you can gain
access to a lot more settings and below will be your
notifications.
• If you want to access your settings applications where
everything is included then just swipe down from the top
and on the right you will see a cog if your press this the
settings will open up.

• This is a software which allows a user to monitor his device. You can gain many
aspects of knowledge about your device by just connecting to meraki. It allows a
user to gather what his battery is on, the location of the product he is looking for,
the connectivity and also security detail like the IMEI number off the device.
• You can also manage your apps and block them. The main thing is if you have
lost the device you can use the software to set off a beacon so an alarm will go
off on your phone it will also show your devices location.
• You can send a message to the phone so if it is found then someone will deliver it
to your address.
