The Beach Bungalow is a 10-person beach house located in Kill Devil Hills, NC. It has 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and amenities like a ping pong table, outdoor shower, garden, and fire pit. Check-in is at 1pm, check-out at 12pm, and guests are responsible for cleaning before departure. Rates are $75-125 per night depending on the season and weekend/weekday, with weekly rates of $400-600. Pets are allowed in the downstairs garage area only and smoking is prohibited inside the house.

1. The Beach Bungalow is located at the Avalon Beach Community in Kill Devil Hills,
N.C. The address is 2043 Edenton Street. Go 2 streets past Milepost 6 sign and turn
right onto Avalon drive. Go ¼ mile and turn left onto Edenton Street. The house is
located on the left. Below is a summary of what is provided and recommendations of
what you might bring (note – linens are not provided.).
House Rules –
 Check-in time 1:00pm

 NO SMOKING INSIDE!
 Pets are permitted in the garage area downstairs.
Arrival –
 Go to panel box in back right bedroom and turn the switches that are in the off
position to on.
 Adjust the thermostat in the hallway.
 Plug in the TV and stereo.
 Plug in refrigerator downstairs if you plan to use it.
 If you’d like, open windows to get a great breeze.
Departure –
 Please clean for the next guests to arrive. There is no cleaning service provided.
 Turn off all lights and unplug stereo, TV, nightlights and fans, etc.
 Sweep and vacuum bedrooms, hallways, kitchen, living area, etc. Please mop if
needed.
 Please leave all pillows on the bed.
 Wash and put away all dishes.
 Lock all windows & close all blinds in every room.
 Turn off water heater labeled in the panel box in the back right bedroom.
 Adjust the thermostat for the AC unit to 84 degrees in the summer and the heating
to 55 degrees in the winter.
 Lock all doors and shut all fences.
Kitchen/Dining – Assorted pots and pans, baking dishes, casserole dishes, plastic
ware, coffee maker, filters, blender, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, silverware,
plates, glasses. One dining room table with four chairs. Recommended: paper
products and specialty items.

2. Beds and Bedding – Beds to sleep up to a total of ten, including sleep sofa.
1st Bedroom: 1 queen bed, dresser, nightstand, lamp, fan, TV.
2nd Bedroom: 1 queen bed, chest of drawers, fan.
3rd Bedroom: 1 set of bunk beds (twin size), chest of drawers, fan, lamp.
4th Bedroom: (Downstairs) 1 queen bed, dresser, chair, TV, full bath, window A/C
unit.
Bedding: All beds have a mattress cover and comforter. Pillows and blankets are
provided. Linens ARE NOT provided. Recommended: pillow cases, sheets, extra
blankets, and sleeping bags.
Bathroom – (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) Toilet, bathtub/shower combination,
vanity. Recommended: your own towels, wash clothes, and toiletries. There is no
bath mat inside the tub.
Family Room – Sofa, end tables, lamp, chair w/ ottoman, Color TV w/ DVD & VCR
combo, desk and chair, radio/CD stereo.
Laundry Room – (downstairs), Top load washer and dryer. Clothes line downstairs.
Recommended: Laundry detergent, dryer sheets.
Heating/Cooling – Central air (thermostat in the hall), baseboard heaters. Window
unit located in downstairs bedroom.
Upper Deck View Patio – Patio chairs with cushions (cushions & glass table top are
located in green and tan storage bin), coffee table, fish cleaning table, and awning.
Downstairs – Ping pong table (paddle and balls are provided), 2nd refrigerator,
bedroom w/full bath, 2 beach cruisers, washer & dryer.
Gas grill, area out back designated for grilling. Please put grill back into the
downstairs area before leaving.
Outdoor Shower – Private outdoor cold/hot shower to rinse off the sand before
entering into the house.
Back Garden Area – Nice shaded garden area w/ wooden swing, picnic table, chairs
w/cushions (cushions located in storage shed), fire pit (please extinguish flame
completely). Recommended: wood for fire pit.

3. Beach Area – Located approximately ½ mile from property. Drive back out to the
By-pass (158 S.), turn right. Make a left at the K-mart. Just past the parking lot at
K-mart you will find a lot on the right for parking. There is public beach parking
straight ahead but it is often times full. There is additional parking in the K-mart
parking lot. Life Guard is located at this area of the beach. They do not have chairs
to rent. Recommended: Beach chairs, towels.
Sound Area – Located just a few blocks away is public access to the sound.

or incurred in connection with the rental and use of this beach house, its surroundings, or
facilities contained therein.
Rental is subject to your acceptance of these terms unconditionally, and the owners
cannot be made responsible for any loss or injury of any kind flowing from misuse,
negligence or gross negligence, accident or any other occurrence arising while in
residence at the Beach Bungalow, for any reason whatsoever.

4. The owners of the Beach Bungalow reserve the right to change the content, equipment,
user facilities and availability of the property at its sole discretion, including these terms
and conditions of use without prior notice. Every effort is made to maintain the accuracy
of information on this website, and to update it when rental rates change, or any specified
conditions or ancillary information changes. Prior to taking occupancy, it is your
responsibility to check if anything may have changed that may affect your period of stay.
