• Many New Zealanders attend parades and dawn services
to remember those who died.
• They march and lay wreaths and a bugle call starts the
ceremony.
5. Why do we commemorate ANZAC day?
• To remember the people who fought for our country and who gave
their lives for us from World War 1.
• It is important to remember them because we would not be here if it
was not for the ANZAC’s.
