Ultra means 2x the daily move
There is also 3x the daily move

6. Leveraged Funds vs. Typical Fund/Index
If an index goes up 1% today you could expect:
- a 2x leveraged fund to be up 2%
- a 3x leveraged fund to be up 3%
If an index is down 2% you could expect:
- a 2x leveraged fund to be down 4%
- a 3x leveraged fund to be down 6%
