Charge # 1 Work with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of legislation that links BUI violations with a person’s motor vehicle driver’s license. 22. Charge # 3 Validate and finalize the rollout of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests Tim Baumgarten - Charge Leader

23. Charge # 3 - deliverable Filming of the standardized tests was done in Florida this year. The 1st class was conducted in North Carolina with other classes scheduled. Focus for the remainder of 2011 will be on delivery of BUI classes utilizing the new NSFST’s and testing the new curriculum and resource supporting materials of the revised BUI course. 2011 - will hold BUI Instructor transition classes in 3 Locations

24. Charge # 4 Establish a baseline of alcohol and or drug use while boating utilizing: BARD, Performance Report Part II and USCG form 4100 and accident data. Glenn Moates - Charge Leader
