Kolibree is the first sonic electric toothbrush using motion sensors and Bluetooth to track brushing
habits and report those habits to users in real time
The Kolibree toothbrush was designed in France by a seasoned team of connected object experts
and dentists, manufactured in Asia and marketed in the US. Distribution is slated to be global.
Built on an open Api and a scalable platform, the Kolibree solution keeps adults and kids
motivated to improve their daily brushing habits.
Targeting a $30b market, the Kolibree solution disrupts oral care by providing real time feedback
on brushing quality shareable with dental professionals or kept private.
After a soft launch in March 2015 in the US, Kolibree is now available this month in Europe with
expected sales to be above 1 m units in 3 years
Founded in January 2014, Kolibree has raised a first round of funding with Innovacom, Cap Horn,
Seb Alliance and DIGH an investment fund of oral care professionals.
4. WHERE IS THE PAIN ?
Oral care cost exceeds $120 billion in the United
States alone.
Most oral care diseases could be easily eliminated
by systematic and regular brushing.
Until now, there has been no easy way to monitor,
improve and educate people’s brushing habits in
real time, empowering them to change their behavior
and prevent know diseases.

5. Dental hygiene must be taught to kids as early as possible.
Education faces serious challenges:
Brushing techniques: each brushing technique requires
different methods so you make sure parents are trained
properly.
•No feedback: initial occurrence during a dentist visit but
feedback stops there, which isn’t good enough.
Evaluation: there is no large data set to investigate
correlation between a population’s brushing habits and oral
diseases.
With people living longer and eating richer food, the oral care
costs increase with age.

3,6 Billion toothbrushes are sold per year
representing a 9 Billion dollar market with an oral care
category at $30 billion (30% toothbrushes).
Electric toothbrushes account for 20% of the market
in the US, 50% in Germany, 15% in France and 30%
in the UK.
