COMPANY PROFILE

ORNATE Architectural Details & Designs Inc. was established in the later part of
1997 in Cebu. The company is engaged in importation, distribution, and installation of
specialty building products such as EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems),
Architectural Shapes/Moldings/Details, Specialty Finishes and Coatings.  All our products
are marketed in a single‐source format and are installed by highly‐trained technicians and
applicators employed by the company.  This system is to ensure the highest quality and
best result possible.

In the second quarter of 1998, the company was awarded the Exterior Finish for
East Aurora Tower (an upscale Residential Condominium development) and Tuscania
Residences (a high‐end Townhouse & Condominium development), both large‐scale prime
residential developments in Cebu. A number of commercial and industrial building projects
also followed.  Alongside, various high‐end residential projects in Cebu’s upscale villages
followed suit.

Despite the Asian regional economic crisis and the unfavorable business climate,
the company received a very encouraging acclaim evident on the contracts awarded and
specifications of its products in a very short span of time.  With this response from various
Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, and Consultants, the company decided to venture
into the Mindanao market.

In the last quarter of 1998 the company was awarded the Exterior Finish and
Architectural Moulding scope for Liceo de Cagayan University and Country Village Hotel
both in Cagayan de Oro City.  Various high‐end residential projects in Cagayan de Oro City
as well as in Davao City also followed.



To further familiarize prospective as well as current users and industry
professionals, the company participates in exhibits and similar undertakings relevant to
construction, architecture, interior design, building management and housing.

In 1999, the company was awarded the Exclusive Philippine Distributorship for
PAREX products.  PAREX Inc. is a U.S. based company, which is a major manufacturer of
EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems) products, as well as other Specialty Coatings
and Finishes.  PAREX Inc. is a subsidiary of Lafarge, a French company with over a hundred
years of experience on various fields in the construction industry.

With this development, the company decided to venture to the Manila‐Luzon
market, where there is a larger requirement for its products.  Despite being based in Cebu,
the company was able to bag contracts in Manila. One of which was for McDonald’s
Philippines.

At the start of the year 2000, the company decided it was time to set‐up office in
the country’s capital, Manila (registered under the name ORNATE Designs Inc.) with a full‐
scale marketing, engineering, and operations work force to cater to the needs of the
LUZON market.  To highlight its entry in the market, the company joined the WORLDBEX
2000, a construction/building materials exhibit where it was able to introduce and present
its products to numerous industry professionals, contractors, and developers/owners.

The acceptance of PAREX products was overwhelming.   To date, ORNATE has
applied and installed PAREX products to more than 300 commercial buildings and upscale
residential buildings in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. PAREX Exterior Insulation and
Finish System (EIFS) is the exterior façade of notable projects such as: Market! Market!
Mall, Bonifacio High Street, Trinoma Mall, Greenbelt 5 Commercial Center, Glorietta 5


Commercial Center, Marquee Mall (Angeles City), Abreeza Mall (Davao), Centrio Mall
(Cagayan de Oro), Glorietta 2 Redevelopment, Harbor Point Mall (Subic), Ayala North
Point Mall (Bacolod), and Ayala Center Cebu Redevelopment (Cebu) ‐‐ all Ayala Land Inc.
commercial and retail projects.  The product is also used in numerous Metro Gaisano Mall
projects as well as the SOLAIRE Resorts and Casino.  Attached is a project reference list.

In 2005, the company expanded into the Playground Equipment and Tensile
Membrane Structure product line. The company is currently the Exclusive Philippine
Distributor for the Jack’s Play brand of Play Systems from Unique Green Recreations
(Malaysia) and KINGWOLF Tensile Membrane Technologies (France/China).  To date the
company has installed the architectural Tensile Membrane canopy for Amara Residences
(Cebu), The Terraces ‐ Ayala Center (Cebu), Nuvali Commercial Center (Laguna), Marquee
Place Residences (Angeles City), Abreeza Mall Food Court (Davao) and Globe CIRCUIT
Events Ground (Makati City).

The company is also the pioneer in water park systems and is the Exclusive
Distributor of Waterplay from Canada. These products are notably installed at One
Serendra Residences (Taguig City) and Marquee Place (Angeles City).

In 2011, the company once again expanded its product line to include Exterior
Pre‐cast Wall systems in tune with the boom in residential high‐rise projects. With this, the
company counts as its first project the Exterior Pre‐cast Walls of 24‐storey Avida Tower 1
and Avida Tower 2 buidlings both located at the Asiatown IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City.

In the same year, the company entered into a joint‐venture agreement with
Makati Development Corporation (a fully‐owned subsidiary and construction arm of Ayala
Land Inc.) to establish a Pre‐Cast Manufacturing Plant in Cebu to exclusively serve the Pre‐


cast Wall and Trans‐slab Flooring requirements of all Ayala Land Inc. residential projects in
Cebu.  To date, the joint‐venture has manufactured and installed the Exterior Pre‐cast Wall
and Trans‐slab Flooring of Sedona Parc Tower Condominium, the high‐end 1016 Tower
Residences & Park Point Residences, Ayala Center Cebu mall expansion located at the
Cebu Business Park and Ebloc 3 IT building located at the Asiatown IT Park, Lahug, Cebu
City.

Also in 2011, the company invested in ACOTEC Hollow‐core Interior Walling
System (Finland) production line and manufacturing plant. The company holds the contract
to supply the interior wall partition requirements of Ayala Land Inc. developments ‐‐ Avida
Tower 1, Avida Tower 2 and Riala, located at the Asiatown IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City;
Sedona Parc, 1016 Residences, Park Point Residences, and Solinea, located at the Cebu
Business Park; and Abreeza Residences located in Davao City.

Its Manila office is located at Unit D 8/F Cacho‐Gonzales Bldg., 101 Agiurre St.,
Legazpi Village, Makati City. While the Cebu office is at 8 Mt. Parker St., Singson Village,
Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

The company is positioned to be the supplier of choice for the latest and up‐to‐
