Position: Rig Admin (West Azeri Platform)
(a) Responsible for ordering of all materials requested by platform personnel
authorized to place such orders. The correct requisition to be completed.
(b) Responsible for the unloading of containers arriving on the platform and checking
materials against manifest. Distribute materials to appropriate store.
(c) Maintain and operate stock control system. Ensure re-order of consumables on
minimum levels.
(d) Liaise with support personnel regarding expediting of materials ordered and not
received.
(e) Arrange back loading of materials, drill pipe, equipment for repair etc., as
required. Complete inward manifest and material transfer forms. Ensure
container or basket is loaded correctly to avoid damage in transit or injury when
unloading.
(f) Liaise with the Human Resourced Department and Heliadmin for Crew change and
replacements in the event of crew shortages
(g) Allocate beds to Group drilling personnel (including third party) on board and
maintain records of same.
(h) Record all hours worked by each crewmember. Fill out on a daily basis the IADC
Drilling Report, POB Sheet and any other time sheets as required including
overtime sheets.
(i) Control the issuing of protective/safety clothing to employees. Ensure the stock
levels are satisfied and that a record is kept of each employee issue.
(j) Book all personnel due to leave the platform on a helicopter flight liaising with
operational and Group support personnel.
(k) Keep lifting gear register up-to-date and maintain file of current certificates.
(l) Stand-in for alternative work discipline as required.
(m) Complete any other reasonable tasks as delegated by Line Supervisor.
(n) Attend all meetings and additional training, as may be required.
(o) Perform administrative duties as requested by Rig Superintendent (minute
meetings etc.).
(p) Meet all incoming Group personnel and drilling related personnel.
(q) Maintain files on personnel training, holiday requests and sickness
