 The process of retaining an employee begins
right from the recruitment and selection stage.
The process being an ongoing one, its success
would depend on the ability of the organization to
keep the employee engaged through meaningful
work, through equitable compensation and
promotion policies, need based training and
through fair and just treatment

Mentorship
 The success of any mentorship programme would
depend on the following:
 The freedom given to a mentee to choose his
mentor
 The trust that is built up over a period of time
between the mentee and the mentor
 The frequency of interaction between the mentee
and the mentor
 The personal stake the mentor has in mentee
development
