The Internet has now been widely available in Helena schools for nearly ten years. The Internet has made a lot of promises of interactivity ease of publishing which wasn't really a reality in the first generation of classroom Internet tools. "Web 2.0, " the latest trend of Internet, included tools like blogs, podcast wikis and social networking. These tools make it possible to use the Internet as classroom toolin more interactive waves. This workshop will introduce the concept of Web 2.0 and what it means for both teachers and learners.
