The online platform provided by Futurelearn will give the University of Leeds
the opportunity to make our inspirational, high-quality educational resources
available to any individual with access to the Internet. By raising the
University’s profile nationally and internationally, it will provide a key
recruitment tool; by setting a standard for Leeds Open Educational Resources

20. Nature and fairness: When worlds collide 2013
Professor Lovett, who holds Leeds’ Leadership Chair of Global
Challenges, said:
“I’m new to online education and the quantity and quality of
debate among the participants was really excellent. It was a
privilege being in the MOOC with everyone.
“It felt like being in a room of friends – the range of opinions was
fascinating, and the discussion has been polite and informative.”
