2. • The editing aspects of our film was the most
important as the editing was what gave us a
complete film. We was highly dependent on the
Adobe Editing software in our film as we need to
compile everything together to cut 15 minutes of
filming down to an 8 minute completed film with
sharp edits and other film based aspects such as
credits and certification.
• I (Nick) took control in terms of editing due to
previous experience of using editing software
before. I felt it would be beneficial to me to
experiment with sound effects on this film which is
why I included sounds such as gun shots which for
me gave our film the advantage over others. The
editing software is what gave me the confidence to
experiment with new dimensions within my film.
3. • Microsoft has been key to me in terms of ancillary tasks and my evaluation. I
erected my poster on Microsoft publisher which to some seems strange due to its
simple nature however for me it was the ideal software to user as I was able to use
it to its full potential to make a well compact precise poster which has received
good reviews from those around me. I have also used publisher and PowerPoint to
complete parts of my evaluation due to its simple nature.
4. • For part of our audience feedback and
original ideas we had to make two
questionnaires. The first one included
questions of original ideas such as “do
you like the title” and “Do you feel the
storyline is strong and can be adapted
into a film?”. Survey monkey allowed me
to create a 10-phase questionnaire that
had a variety of answer options such as
multiple choices and essay box’s.
• The second questionnaire I completed
was an evaluation. I conducted a 12
questioned questionnaire in which I
asked my specific demo graph questions
surrounded around the film after they
had watched it through entirely for the
first time.
5. • Blogger is the main website I have
used in my two year media course. All
analysis, evaluation and tasks have
been completed on Blogger. I have
kept a daily account of how my film
and other ancillary tasks have come
along. All analysis of the original ideas
has been noted on blogger for
example.
• There has been no problems with
using blogger as you can see from the
continuous posts that are lengthy and
analytical.
6. • Our whole film was filmed on our in-school
camera – known as a Canon Legria. The legria
offers HD viewing with consistent framing of
video recordings. We had no problems while
filming as we felt the camera was very easy to
use and was extremely consistent. Charging
was the only problem we found which was out
of our control.
• At one point we was insistent on using night
vision in one of our scenes however the camera
didn't offer such technologies so we had to
snub the idea and think of an alternative
approach.
• Overall, I was very happy with the quality of the
camera considering the budget we set our self
when we thought of the original idea for the
movie.
7. • One of the final stages of our film
production was the advertising aspects of
the feature. We thought it would be wise
to put our film on YouTube for others to
view and review. The uploading of the
video was a lengthy process that took up
to 5 hours to complete.
• However our film is now in the process of
being viewed by YouTube viewers which
we hope can inspire younger media
students to use or be influenced by
elements of our film.
