2. The river runs
Through the dark green forest
With animals the size of trees
Life is harsh
Where dog eat dog
In the land of the Amazon
3. The man walked through the darkened
street
Looking only at his feet
The rain comes from the black clouds
Filling the streets with Shadow’s shroud
The dawn began to break
The hands of the man ceased to shake
And the day’s brilliant light
Replacing the dark and dreary night
4. The duck flew south for the sum-
mer
While cows ate the fully grown
wheat
The house burns in a blue flame
The pencil splinters
The coffee tilts
Vines grows around the car
Birds fly in the red sky
Bats sleep in the dark cave
5. This poem is sucky
Oh very much
I don’t know what else to do
Guess the poem is done
6. There once was a man from Peru
He only liked people named Stu
Jim and Georges would not do
He liked to jump and yell “BOO!”
He would only wear one shoe
7. Ode to Nature
As I walk through the fields and plain
The trees leaning on each other like
canes
The sound of the forest is much
Birds and animals and all the such
Create the sounds I love to hear
The sound of it fills me with cheer
Songs of birds fill the chilly air
They sing with hardly a care
The trees are standing tall
While their leave turn yellow with fall
