 Punjab the region’s name means land of five rivers& and
comes from the five tributaries of the Indus river that traverse
the Punjab: Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas, and Sutlej.
 Total population: 2,77,04236
 Rural population: 1,82,84795
 Urban population:94,19440
 Total area: 50,362 km 2
 Capital: Chandigarh
 Total District: 22
 In Punjab there is almost 66% people live in rural area comparison to
34% live in urban area. Most of the Punjab land in a fertile, alluvial plain
with many rivers and an extensive irrigation canal system.
 Agriculture machinery and equipments industry comprises a large
number of segments even of organized sector.
 The state has been awarded the National Productivity Award for
agriculture extension services for ten years.
 In Punjab The main characteristic of commercial farming is the uses of
higher doses of modern input like fertilizer ,seeds, pesticide, new
agriculture machine to more productivity of crops
 Punjab is one of the most fertile regions in India. The
region is ideal for wheat-growing. Rice,
sugarcane, fruits and vegetablsare also grown. Indian
Punjab is called the "Granary of India" or "India's
bread-basket". It produces 10.26% of India's cotton,
19.5% of India's wheat, and 11% of India's rice. In
Punjab the consumption of fertilizer per hectare is
223.46 kg as compared to 90 kg nationally.

In below there are few agriculture machine
that have been using in current year
 In agriculture sector pertaining to processing,
dairying, poultry-farming, fishery and other industries
connected with agriculture.
 As we know that to selling every product in marketing
is a tough work, but in rural area it is too tough.
 Tractor industry is one of the most capital intensive
industry in agriculture machinery industry with more
than half dozen player available in the market.
 Through these type of proper sources like weekly
market,haats,fairs we will promote our product and
attract the customer. Because in haats or weekly market
they also sell their products and also buy some need
products. If our product will attract the farmer then
obviously they will purchase it.
 In Punjab area if we will sell our machinery product then
first we will to find out customer detail through different
sources like agriculture seed & fertilizer stores,
machinery stores. Then we will apply our next strategy
that what should we have done.
 In agriculture machinery Agricultural markets are special
types of markets that have special characteristics that
differ from other markets.
 Rural Primary Markets include mainly the periodical
markets known as haats and fairs which are estimated to
more than 21,000.
 In rural and tribal areas, a weekly market is the first link in
the marketing channel for a small/marginal and tribal
farmers and the price they receive at this market constitute
their cash income.

  • 2.  Punjab the region’s name means land of five rivers& and comes from the five tributaries of the Indus river that traverse the Punjab: Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas, and Sutlej.  Total population: 2,77,04236  Rural population: 1,82,84795  Urban population:94,19440  Total area: 50,362 km 2  Capital: Chandigarh  Total District: 22
  • 3.  In Punjab there is almost 66% people live in rural area comparison to 34% live in urban area. Most of the Punjab land in a fertile, alluvial plain with many rivers and an extensive irrigation canal system.  Agriculture machinery and equipments industry comprises a large number of segments even of organized sector.  The state has been awarded the National Productivity Award for agriculture extension services for ten years.  In Punjab The main characteristic of commercial farming is the uses of higher doses of modern input like fertilizer ,seeds, pesticide, new agriculture machine to more productivity of crops

Indian Punjab is called the "Granary of India" or "India's bread-basket". It produces 10.26% of India's cotton, 19.5% of India's wheat, and 11% of India's rice. In Punjab the consumption of fertilizer per hectare is 223.46 kg as compared to 90 kg nationally.

Then we will apply our next strategy that what should we have done.
