A reputed UK based furniture manufacturing and trading company in retail
business with one showroom in Mumbai and six showrooms in the UK. It offers
complete interior solution, manufactures furniture and they are experienced
traders who also offer furniture trade on contract basis.
Responsibilities:
• Fully involved with the daily operations of the Retail Showroom.
• Display Layouts of the Furniture, Product Pricing, Organising Discounts
Structure, Co-ordinating with the Print Media for Advertising, Handling Key
Accounts and all the other aspects of the Showroom business.
• Responsible for Production and Site Installation.
• Conducting regular checks at the production warehouse and supervising
the activities in order to maintain Quality control.
• Execution of all retails and contract jobs from site measurement, delivery
of materials, distribution and assembling as per the plan design taking into
account controlled usage of materials.
• Delivering with Aesthetic and structural conformity for the client’s product
requirement with integral accountability.
• Certifying and standardizing sampling requirement as per client’s
specification, so as to ensure that prototypes are made as per necessities /

• Managing Local Vendor development for supply of raw materials to the
production warehouse.

• July 2002 – July 2007 Manager Mumbai
Furniturewalla is a large speciality furniture showroom situated at Andheri,
which deals with classical, contemporary, ethnic and colonial range of furniture
with nine branches all over India.
• I joined this company as a sales representative in July 2002 reporting to the
General Manager.
Responsibilities:
• My job profile as a sales representative were Understanding the client’s
requirements, look the right product, recommending the client the various
products of interest and getting orders and finalizing and executing the
orders with complete satisfaction of the client.
• After considering a highly efficient and profitable performance I was
promoted as a Branch Manager at the Chennai branch in 2004. I handled
the entire Chennai branch for one and half year with great success and
significant improvement with regards to the sales performance at the
branch.
• In the year 2005 I was promoted and transferred back to Mumbai as a
Regional Manager reporting to the G.M.
