Captain/OIM with Lundin Malaysia on board FPSO BERTAM, in the conversion phase at Singapore shipyard.
My actual task is to provide support to the FPSO conversion team within the Lundin operations and
development department.
Provide input to support the installation and commissioning of the refurbished systems within the shipyard.
Provide support for the preparation of all operations documentation, procedures and training to prepare the
FPSO for service in BERTAM field at Malaysian waters.

 Managing all aspects of the offshore operation as the highest authority on board the FPSO.

to ensure they meet the needs of the offshore, legislative or company requirements.
 Providing input into and monitoring Health, Safety & Environment yearly performance targets. This
includes providing solutions/recommendations and developing strategic plans to ensure yearly
performance targets are achieved.
 Ensuring that any documentation and certification required supporting the effective management of the
Installation is reviewed, controlled and updated as necessary.

 Maintained a high standard of safety on board which secured periods of more than two years without
incident.
 Achieved very high production performances with very good uptime during continuous 6 years and
executed successfully all necessary upgrade & transformation to the FPSO’s equipment to meet
company production performances targets.
 Achieved successfully the special class survey for the unit, while on site, and obtained the DNV re-
classification certificates for next 5 years
 Contributed to improvement , upgrade and implementation of the company safety management system
 Elaborated the company environmental management system manual.
