Issues for discussion: • Does your country have ongoing partnerships between the government and civil society organizations to provide services in the health sector? • What are the main characteristics of such partnerships and the key elements that enable more effective national responses in the health sector? • Which are the main determinants to ensure that these partnerships can bring cost savings and efficiencies as well as increased effectiveness? 1
