3. Trailer Feedback - Positives
The feedback said that the camerawork was well shot and
the various shot types used helped to make the trailer
better.
• ‘the shot variety is good’
• ‘The shots are good, well thought out’
Also the editing used was quick and snappy, this helped the
trailer to flow well and stay conventional.
• ‘the editing is well done’
• ‘I like the use of wipes too, very conventional’
4. Trailer Feedback - Negatives
Our audience thought that the music didn’t really fit the genre of
the film. It seemed like it had just been casually thrown over the
top of the trailer.
• ‘The music is quite poor and doesn’t really fit the trailer’
They didn’t like the costumes either, they thought that they weren’t
really suited to the character.
• ‘some of the costumes were too casual’
The narrative drew a few criticisms, many believed it was to vague.
• ‘The narrative is a little confusing, maybe you give too much
away’
• ‘The narrative is alright, however the trailer visually is superb’

9. Ancillary Feedback – Positives
Most people believed that the Magazine was good, and
looked very conventional.
• ‘The magazine is well created’
• ‘Overall the quotes and cover lines are creative’
Overall the poster was successful and it looked
realistic.
• ‘Poster is really good, I like font styles a lot.’
• ‘The poster is well done and looks official’
From the surveys its clear that many people liked the
layout and also the colour scheme and font styles that
I’d chosen.
10. Ancillary Feedback - Negatives
Most of the criticisms were about the poster.
• ‘The poster is a little to simple’
• The poster is simple, and it needs a little more’
Also the image and colour scheme of the magazine
was questioned a few times.
• ‘The image is a little weird’
• ‘The colour scheme looks a little bland’
The survey results showed that although the Ancillary
tasks are good they aren’t enough to convince people
to go and watch the film.

13. Summary
Overall the feedback gained from my target market were
positive. They explained on how well edited the trailer was
and how good the shots were composed. The ancillary
tasks were equally as successful with the audience, they
thought that the poster was simple but effective and the
magazine looked official and conventional.
However the negatives that were picked out about the
trailer were centred around the music and how it didn’t
really fit the genre. Also the ancillary tasks were too simple
and the composition of the images were confusing and
strange.
14. Improvements - Trailer
From the audience feedback I have learnt that the
trailer needs better music, as it doesn’t fit the
genre and doesn’t related to what’s happening
within the film.
Also some of the costumes should have been
better thought out, for example when my character
is dressed casually in joggers and a hoody for a
date. He should have been smarter to show the
importance of the date.
15. Improvements – Ancillary
The audience feedback I gathered also gave me lots of
things to improve concerning my ancillary tasks, the
magazine although it looked good, drew criticisms for the
composition of the images on the front.
Also the colour scheme wasn’t well thought out with a few
people thinking that it was too bland and lacked real colour.
The poster was too simple, many people thought that it
needed more added to it, it just seemed like a picture with a
few bits of writing. It needed more emphasis on the title of
the film.
