Hugo ROY Terms of service and privacy policies govern our rights online. Unfortunately, they are often overlooked: most users of online services will “agree to the terms and conditions” without reading them. In this talk, we will see the reasons why terms of service are currently broken and how they can subjugate users into giving up their rights, with a proposal to fix this problem. “You and Netflix agree that any dispute, claim or
controversy arising out of or relating in any way to the
Netflix service, including our website, user interfaces,
these Terms of Use and this Arbitration Agreement, shall
be determined by binding arbitration instead of in courts

a lawsuit in court. Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator
